Whats in your Pantry: Basic Veggies

Keep basic vegetables like celery, peppers, and onions in your pantry. These are great staples to keep on hand for tons of recipes! You can throw the veggies in a skillet with a little olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper to quickly add some yummy veggies to your diet. Add in any other veggies you have on hand like spinach, kale, cherry tomatoes, or carrots. Greens and tomatoes will cook rapidly and should be added to the sauté last.

Veggies are also delicious when roasted in the oven! Coat them in a little oil and seasonings of choice. I love to use old bay on carrots, sweet potatoes, and cauliflower this way. You can use whatever seasoning combinations that you like or have on hand; salt, pepper, and garlic are always a good choice!
